El Dorado
The legendary city said to be made entirely of gold. Presumed to be located somewhere in Central or South America. Countless numbers of explorers and conquistadors have disappeared, died, or been driven to madness while searching for this mythical metropolis. The Costa Rican government is currently in the process of securing the funds required to hire The Blue Monkey and her crew in order to conduct a proper and exhaustive investigation. Captain Connor has been contacted regarding a trip to Costa Rica in order to discuss the details and implications of such an expedition.
The Pool of Tangaroa
The University of Auckland's Department of Archeology commissioned the captain and crew of The Blue Monkey as part of a largescale project to locate the legendary Pool of Tangaroa. Local mythology has it that when the earth was newly formed, it was dry and parched and barren. Then the god Tangaroa touched the earth and a waterfall sprang to existence. Soon a clear, beautiful pool was formed from which all life eventually emerged. The crew of The Blue Monkey located the site in 2010 and it has since been designated a National Historic Site.
The Bermuda Triangle
The Bermuda Triangle is said to be responsible for the disappearance of countless airplanes and boats in the ocean between Florida, San Juan, and Bermuda. This area is one of the most heavily sailed shipping lanes in the world, with vessels crossing through daily for ports in the Americas, Europe and the Caribbean Islands. Why are there so many unexplained disappearances taking place in this vast triangle of ocean? Captain Connor and the crew of The Blue Monkey may just decide to find out. Stay tuned.

The Library of Alexandria
What is known of the Alexandria Library is a mixture of history and myth. The library's dual purpose was to show off the wealth of Egypt and act as a place of research and intellectual advancement. The library staff was charged with "collecting all the world's knowledge" - and it is said that they made great strides toward accomplishing that goal. Many scholars believe that the library is the resting place of powerful arcane knowledge that has since been lost to the ages.

Atlantis
According to Plato, Atlantis was a naval power lying "in front of the Pillars of Hercules" that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9600 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis is aid to have sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune". Captain Connor is in discussions with an independent financier who would like to hire The Blue Monkey and her crew to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the possible location of the lost city.
